My Looking Glass Self

My blog (and its title) is based off of Charles Horton Cooley's theory of “The Looking Glass Self” in accordance with W.E.B. Dubois' theory on "Double Consciousness" which dictated that people tend to behave in the way that they believe others expect them to. My blog will be based off my own personal experiences in society, with my family, friends and my own personal inner struggles with the hope of you sharing your own experiences.
